About Me

I am a wedding and portrait photographer primarily and recently I’ve begun offering video production services as well. I’ve been a full time, professional photographer since 2003! For the majority of my career, I concentrated on weddings and portraiture, however I’ve also done many other product, architectural, real estate photos and video, business headshots, and numerous other jobs throughout the last 15 years of my career.

My father is to blame! He was an avid photographer and shot weddings on the weekends while he worked for IBM. As a child, he introduced me to the magic of an actual darkroom, with my Kodak Brownie camera strapped around my neck, I went out and shot all kinds of subject matter, then later developed the film and the prints with my Dad in the darkroom. It was a memorable time in my life and one of my most appreciated skills that he passed on to me.

He was also an incredible musician! I would fall asleep many nights to him playing the Hammond organ and this lead to me also becoming a musician eventually. I started on the drums in the 4th grade (poor parents) and switched to guitar as my main instrument after high school. As a musician and recording engineer/producer, I have enjoyed success as a business owner of a professional recording studio in the 90’s as well as toured the country and played with several fairly successful local bands. I must say that in regard to doing what you love, I couldn’t be happier! I have shared a passion for both photography as well as music for all my life.

I continue to strive to provide an exception result that you will be happy with. Seeing my clients express tears of joy or smiles of content satisfaction over a job well done is my fundamental reward and getting to do what I love is the icing on the cake! It fuels my passion to continue providing images for those that appreciate the art and skill of quality photography and videography.

Please feel free to contact me with any job involving a camera and also please look into my portfolio for examples of my past work.

Thanks!
